Bliss
Aurora Vale Bliss organic daytime herbal tea, 100g and 50g pouches

2 PM. The morning's momentum is gone. The afternoon hasn't started yet.

This is the gap Bliss was made to fill.

Looking for a Refreshing Herbal Tea That Isn't Heavy

Afternoons don't need another jolt. They need something light — something that clears the head without asking anything of the stomach, and doesn't leave you more tired an hour later.

Bliss is our answer: a refreshing herbal tea built around lemongrass and peppermint, with just enough warmth from ginger to keep it from feeling thin, and just enough softness from chamomile and rose to keep it from feeling sharp.

What's in the Blend

Eight botanicals, and every one earns its place. Lemongrass and peppermint carry the brightness — the two ingredients you notice first, and the reason Bliss feels like a reset rather than another cup of tea.

Chamomile softens it. Ginger and Tulsi Vana add a gentle warmth underneath, so the mint doesn't feel too sharp on its own. Hibiscus and rose buds bring colour and a faint tartness to the cup. Linden flower rounds off the finish — quiet, floral, easy to sit with.

No sugar. No flavouring. Just what's written on the label, and nothing else.

A Digestive Herbal Tea for the Middle of the Day

Peppermint and ginger have long been reached for after meals, in kitchens and homes long before wellness brands existed as a category. Bliss leans on that same, simple logic — a digestive herbal tea for whenever lunch feels like it's still sitting there, heavier than it should.

It's not medicine, and we don't present it as one. It's just what people have poured a cup of for a very long time, for the same reason: it tends to help the afternoon feel lighter.

Why Eight Ingredients, Not Eighteen

Some of our blends have more botanicals in them. Bliss is deliberately simpler. When the goal is a light, clear afternoon reset, more ingredients don't necessarily mean a better cup — they can just mean a muddier one.

Every ingredient in Bliss is chosen to support the same feeling: brightness first, calm second, nothing competing for attention.

How to Brew It

92°C — just off the boil, not a full rolling boil. Steep for 6 minutes, no longer. Bliss is a lighter blend, and oversteeping brings out a bitterness from the peppermint that doesn't need to be there. If you like your tea stronger, add a little more leaf rather than steeping longer.

Storing Bliss for Freshness

Keep the pouch sealed, away from direct sunlight and heat, in a cool, dry cupboard. Bliss leans on delicate ingredients — peppermint and rose especially — that lose their brightness faster than heavier, spiced blends if left open to air. Stored properly, it stays fresh for up to 18 months from the pack date.

After opening, reseal tightly after each use. If the peppermint smell has faded to something faint or grassy, it's time for a fresh pouch.

Make the Ritual Your Own

Bliss is built to be light on its own, but a few additions work well without weighing it down. A few fresh mint leaves alongside the dry blend sharpen the peppermint further. A thin slice of cucumber, added after brewing and cooling, turns it into something closer to a spa-style iced drink. Honey works if you want a touch of sweetness, though many customers prefer Bliss unsweetened.

What we'd avoid: strong spices like cinnamon or extra ginger. Bliss is meant to stay light, and heavier additions push it closer to Ember's territory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bliss caffeine-free?
Yes. Like all Aurora Vale blends, Bliss contains no tea leaf, coffee, or added caffeine.

Can I drink Bliss cold, as iced tea?
Yes — brew it as usual, let it cool, and pour over ice. The peppermint and hibiscus hold up well cold, and many customers prefer it that way in warmer months.

How is Bliss different from Ember or Drift?
Ember is spiced and warming, built for mornings. Drift is floral and calming, built for evenings. Bliss sits between the two — lighter, brighter, and meant for the middle of the day.

Can I drink Bliss more than once a day?
Most customers enjoy one to two cups a day. As with any herbal blend, moderation is sensible, and if you have any health concerns, check with your doctor first.

Is Bliss suitable during pregnancy or while nursing?
Peppermint in larger amounts is sometimes advised against during pregnancy. Please check with your doctor before adding Bliss to your routine if you're pregnant or nursing.

Can I add honey or mint leaves to Bliss?
Yes, both work well. See "Make the Ritual Your Own" above for a few more ideas.

How long does one pouch last?
Most customers find a 100g pouch lasts two to three weeks with daily use, depending on how strong you brew it.

What's the shelf life of Bliss, and how should I store it?
Up to 18 months unopened, kept cool, dry, and away from sunlight. See "Storing Bliss for Freshness" above.

How many cups of Bliss can I drink per day?
Most people find 1–3 cups a day comfortable. If it's your first time trying Bliss, start with one cup and see how your body responds.

Is Bliss safe if I have a chamomile or ragweed allergy?
Bliss contains chamomile, which belongs to the daisy family. If you're allergic to ragweed, marigolds, chrysanthemums, or daisies, please avoid Bliss or check with a doctor first, as cross-reactions are possible.

Does Bliss interact with any medications?
Chamomile has been associated with interactions involving blood-thinning medication. If you take blood thinners or any regular prescription, please check with your doctor before drinking Bliss regularly.

Should I drink Bliss before or after meals?
Many people prefer peppermint-based teas like Bliss after a meal, as it's traditionally been used to settle the stomach post-lunch. It's gentle enough to enjoy either way.

What's the difference between herbal tea and regular tea?
Regular tea (black, green, oolong) comes from the Camellia sinensis plant and naturally contains caffeine. Herbal teas like Bliss are made from other plants, flowers, and spices, and are naturally caffeine-free.

Why "the Middle of a Perfect Day"

Every blend we make has a moment attached to it. For Bliss, it's not the start of the day or the end of it — it's the part in between that nobody plans for. The pause between meetings. The ten minutes before you pick the kids up. The stretch of afternoon that either drags or resets, depending on what you do with it.

That's what this blend is for. Nothing dramatic. Just a good cup, at the right time.
